PHILIP A. TWOMEY, P.E., PRESIDENT
For more than 27 years with Admiral, Philip has specialized in the environmental regulations and compliance problems for a wide variety of industrial facilities. This includes wastewater, industrial wastes, hazardous chemicals and air pollution. As Director of Services, he personally is involved in all plant surveys, environmental audits, regulatory assessments, and the design and trouble-shooting of wastewater treatment systems. For the past 17 years, Philip has been the President of Admiral. He continues to provide expert counsel to our industrial clients. His many years of service to the same clients provides a continuity of planning and reporting for these companies. His long time experience in this region provides him with a wealth of knowledge for regulatory practices and historical data related to environmental compliance. This knowledge is particularly valuable when clients are faced with difficult decisions regarding compliance options. Steve directs our air pollution compliance programs, and the preparation of environmental site assessments and site remediation projects. He is also involved with environmental compliance audits, Employee and Community Right-To-Know regulations, waste minimization studies, chemical spill containment and contingency plans (SPCC), storm water pollution plans, underground storage tank (UST) compliance, and RCRA and nonhazardous wastes. Steve is directly responsible for the preparation of the complex Title V Clean Air Act Permits, emissions trading applications (ERMS), and Federally Enforceable State Operating Permits (FESOP) for our clients. He has considerable experience with responding to violation notices and negotiating successful resolution of the outstanding issues. In addition, Mr. Anderson is assisting our clients in their efforts to comply with the air emission control, recordkeeping and testing requirements under the Clean Air Act. Steve has conducted environmental compliance audits for a wide variety of industry, including metal finishing, industrial chemicals, printing, plastic extruding and molding, printed circuit boards and electronics manufacturers. He has conducted dozens of environmental site assessments, including Phase 2 soil and groundwater investigations, and Phase 3 site remediation projects. He has received the 40-hour certification for Hazardous Waste Site Activities, as well as the 8-hour supervisory certification. In addition, he has received training for ISO 14000 Lead Auditing.
